In December, we received our first run of bun boxes which went in part to Lanakila Meals on Wheels and Bizgenic’s holiday cookie programs. Lanakila Meals on Wheels did it large with loads of boxes going out to delight recipients across Oahu.
Cookie Rookies
Bizgenics did a more homespun version with just a few dozen boxes going out to Board members and supporters. Bizgenics’ all-rookie team of sister and brother interns, Melanie and Paul Hennessee and Bizgenics Chairman Steve with wife Karen stalked the Internet for tasty lemon, ginger and sugar cookie recipes.
Ready to Rise
Now that 2020 had arrived, we’re ready to hit the road, or beach, to find foodservice establishments interested in joining the Buns Hawaii slider hui. Our goal is to co-market 10 or so restaurants, so if you know of any slider aficionado chefs, please forward them to this website.
